Photoshopping and Textures

I'm working on a photo illustration but it just doesn't seem to be turning out the way I want it. It's sort of a dreamy, surreal image illustration. I just can't seem to have it right. I'll keep working on it, I guess...meanwhile, I've been playing around with some old photos and textures. Check them out, tell me what you think either here or my flickr account.
